Why me?
Let's start with the 'professional' stuff;
- 22+ years of training.
- Ex-golf pro.
- Blackbelt.
- 17+ years coaching.
- 8 books written (currently).
- Formal qualifications in fitness, nutrition, stress & recovery, master health coaching and a thoroughly useless foundation degree in science.
Like a true Geralt, I'm horribly neutral about most things and I genuinely don't care about much. But I'll fight for what I believe is right. We live in patriarchal bullshit land, and as a feminist this bothers me greatly. Especially when we look at the 'personal development world'.
It's a joke as a whole, but what's sold to women in particular is designed to keep them smaller, softer and easier to manage.
Fuck that. I'd rather teach you to be the opposite. Stand up, be strong, be difficult to knock over, but most of all, be Dangerous.
And that's where the Dangerous Woman Society comes into play. It's the culmination of all things Project Tempest, and if you stick around and sign up for the Dangerous Dispatch, you'll learn all about it, but in short, we focus on 4 pillars:
- Fitness
- Fighting
- Fundamentals
- Frequency
Physiology, capacity, seasonality, mastery < these are the things we focus on. You'll never hear me talking about manifesting, affirmations or divine feminine energy, unless it's explaining how useless and cringey they are.
Other useful things to know:
- I don't like social media - it's a heavily curated cesspit that takes more than it gives. I much prefer the old fashioned ways of communicating; email, books, print - and that's reflected heavily in the training materials I produce.
- I hate small talk. If you contact me, skip the weather and tell me what's actually going on.
- I enjoy food. A lot. I'm not going to tell you to drink celery juice, count your almonds or feel guilty about dinner.
- I'm married to an Italian, have a 3-legged black GSD and I'm aunt to the best little human.
- I'm a dorky millennial so I enjoy pop culture references and inappropriate jokes.
- I come across like an arsehole. But I care more about you getting results than about you liking me, and I will always show up and get the job done.
There's plenty more but I'm bored of talking about myself, so if you like what you've read here and want more from my corner of the internet, opt in to the list.
You'll get The Dangerous Dispatch: near-daily letters on the fundamentals, fitness, fighting and frequency, plus a digital copy of The Dangerous Woman and access to The Dangerous Den, full of training and audio to help you on the Dangerous path.
